No such thing per-SE from ICANN's side. Nevertheless, we can arrange to go
out together and enjoy Istanbul.

Someone has uploaded the Istanbul transportation map to the Dropbox in some

The metro starts at 06:00 am <x-apple-data-detectors://0> on Sundays. If
you are arriving in Ataturk Airport please take the metro until Aksaray and
from there you will need to go to the other metro lane to come to Osmanbey
station.

Please find the link for the metro guide below.

Hope this would help.

Thank you Fahd for your reply,

So it looks it's the first time in Istanbul for many of those attending,
I found this link hich looks usefull:

rport-to-your-hotel/

Best options IMHO, that you either take a Taxi from the airport which cost
about 20 Euro, or take the HAVATAS Airport Shuttle Bus to Taksim (10TL) and
then a Taxi from there to the Hotel. Its only 1.2Km away from where the Bus
stops.

Thank you Hazem for your email.

In reply to your questions:

. Yes, the meeting venue and the accommodation venue are the same
place; i.e. Ramada Plaza Istanbul (AKA Ramada Plaza Osmabey)

. This is the first time for me in Istanbul, too. Thus, I'd suggest
you check the airport website at
http://www.ataturkairport.com/en-EN/Pages/Main.aspx for such information. I
am unable to do this as I am traveling back home today, and will not have
time to investigate this. Any volunteers to check this out?

Hope that helps.

Fahd

Dear Fahd,

Just to be well directed , I couldn't find any info about where our meeting
will take place. Is it in the same hotel we're staying at or at the ICANN
office?

Another issue, that would be much appreciated if you could tell us the best
way to reach the Hotel from the airport, since that is my first visit to
Istanbul.
