Dear Sarmad,
Thank you for your email.
It is sad to see you step down from the leadership role of this group. After all, the TF-AIDN was an idea you made to the Middle East Strategy Working Group (MESWG) back in 2013, and we are glad it has grown these past 3+ years.
And now that a change in leadership is suggested, and to make the task of the new leadership easier, I’d like to propose some ideas for the TF-AIDN to think about:
· The group can have a chair and vice-chair to split the load of moderation. If 2 vice-chairs is needed, then be it.
· The chair and vice-chair(s) can have a predefined term (6 months or 1 year) after which others can carry the baton. This could help in cases where a member is free for the next couple of months, but then has other commitments/obligations there after.
Thank you,
Fahd

Subject: [Ext] [TF-AIDN] New leadership for TF-AIDN
Dear TF-AIDN members,
Though it has been a pleasure and honor to chair and coordinate the work of TF-AIDN over the past years, it is now time to find new leadership to continue the journey. Though I will continue to serve as a member of this group, which I feel is making significant contributions, due to my increasing travel and work commitments, I would request to step down from the additional responsibility of the coordination role. I will hand it temporarily over to Fahd to work with all of you to determine and on-board the future leadership for this group.
Thank you again, and I look forward to keep working with all of you on this and other platforms.
Regards,
Sarmad
